This guide will guide you on how to Backup and Restore Firefox Bookmarks?

We all bookmark our favorite websites or pages which we might need to refer or read at a later time.  Over the period of time, we might have hundreds or even more websites of our interest added to the bookmarks. Now, what if we are getting our computer serviced with the operating system reinstalled or if we are changing to a brand new computer? We would never like to loose all our bookmarks in Firefox, wouldn’t we?  I have in the past experienced the pain of remembering the addresses of the websites that I wanted to refer to. The easiest way of accessing our bookmarks would be by setting up “Firefox Sync” feature which I will discuss in a later post, but that needs you to setup an account with Firefox. This guide will show you how to backup and restore Firefox bookmarks without an account with Firefox.

Before we begin, note down this link or may be take a picture of the address as you may need this page to follow instructions on your new Firefox before you restore the bookmarks. The link is www.pcsurfer.com/firefoxbookmarks
